What are they?

Headaches in North Liberty are a general diagnosis for pain in the head. There are a wide range of symptoms and types of headaches that have different causes.

What Causes them?

There are a variety of causes based on the type of headache but a common cause of headaches and migraines is pressure or interference to the Nerve System. Your spine is designed to hold up the weight of your head. When the structure is out of place it causes the muscles and tendons and nerves to take on the stress and that leads to many types of headaches. Other types of headaches can be caused by pressure on the nerves toward the top of your neck.

Can Chiropractic Help?

Absolutely! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A NORMAL HEADACHE! None of us were born with an ibuprofen deficiency. Each type of headache has a specific cause, many of which can be helped with Chiropractic care. By correcting the structure of the spine and body it takes the pressure off of the muscles and ligaments and removes pressure on the nerves which is a major cause of headaches!
