What is it?: Fibromyalgia in North Liberty is actually a Latin term that means “muscle fiber pain”. More and more people are diagnosed each year because it is a diagnoses based on fitting a set of symptoms (vs a diagnosis based on identifying the cause). If you have pain and the cause hasn’t been identified yet, the most common diagnosis today is Fibromyalgia.
